Jimmy Lee,  Advisor and Coach - Strategy and Fundraising Jimmy Lee is President and CEO of Goodcity. Previously, he served as the Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and a Candidate for the United States Congress in the 11th Congressional District of Illinois.  Known as a strong advocate of community development, he served as the Executive Director of the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce and the Managing Director of the U.S. Asian Business Council. Jimmy also had the honor of being named one of Crain’s, "40 Business Leaders Under 40.” He has helped to start a numerous organizations and businesses making an impact around the world including the Global Executive Leadership Forum, Create Possible, re:source global, the National Center for Community Development, and the US Asian Business Council.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jimmy and his wife Sarah, live in Chicago.

Matt Brown, PhD,  Advisor - Sports Psychology Matt Brown understands first-hand the challenges and struggles of a permanently sidelined athlete. His collegiate football career ended abruptly when he sustained a broken neck at the University of Calgary training camp in 1988. He struggled painfully to redefine himself, having relied heavily on football prior to his injury. Over time, Matt was inspired to become a sports psychologist. He completed his undergrad degree in psychology at the University of Alberta where he also complete a Master’s degree in sports psychology. He then completed his doctoral degree in counseling psychology, specializing in athletes at the University of Calgary. Matt worked in the consulting realm with many Canadian National teams such as men’s waterpolo, bobsleigh, skeleton, luge, wrestling. He now provides sport psychology and counseling at the Edge School for Athletes in Calgary, Canada. Matt also works with the Calgary Hitmen (WHL), the Arizona Coyotes (NHL), and numbers Canadian National Team athletes.

Amy Nelson,  Advisor - Athlete Connection Amy Nelson is the Facility Manager and Shareholder of Athletico Physical Therapy’s Andersonville office. She holds a B.S. in Biology and both a Masters and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She played basketball for Southwest Missouri State and was Captain of the Women’s Final Four Basketball Team during her time there. Amy is the physical therapist for Chicago Force Women’s Tackle Football Team and is also a member and physical therapist for LivingFit Chicago Boot Camp.  Her volunteer work experience includes: Member of Operation Walk Chicago, an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged patients around the world, Board Member for Girls in the Game, a leading girls' health and fitness organization in Chicago, and a volunteer for Chicago Canine Rescue. On a personal level, Amy has run 5 marathons, a trail 50K in CO and has trekked in Nepal up to 18,000 feet.

Matt Savage is a lifelong friend of the Pinalto family and is a businessman based in Chicago, IL. He has a passion for all things sports, having grown up playing competitive soccer, baseball, and golf before becoming an All-American golfer during his collegiate career at Stanford University.  Matt currently serves as a Business Manager at Accenture Consulting and travels around the world helping his clients create strategies to help solve complex operational and financial challenges.  He is excited to contribute his sports and business strategy experience to help build Sidelined and maximize its impact on young people around the country.  Matt holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Tim Verduin,  Advisor - Insurance Tim Verduin is the President of REGION Insurance Group (RIG), an independent insurance agency located in Crown Point, IN. Tim launched RIG in 2013, and specializes in various insurance products including personal lines, farm, business, life, disability, Medicare supplements, annuities, and health. Previously, Tim worked as an insurance broker for COUNTRY Financial and Gnade Insurance Group, and he currently has 13 years of experience within the insurance industry. Tim attended Trinity Christian College where he played baseball, and graduated with a double major in Business and Theology. He also served as an original board member to launch Faith and Action from 2009 to 2015, a nonprofit organization providing a venue for ordinary people to serve those in need within the Chicagoland area.
